Mango came to us via a NSW pound at just 10 months old, and it was clear she’d had a rough start to life. ¬†She hadn’t had a lot of socialisation with other dogs, and while she desperately wanted to play and be friends with them, she would often misinterpret their behaviour and get herself into trouble.

During her time in foster care in Sydney, Mango was given the chance to socialise with friendly, well mannered dogs who forgave her a mistake or two – most of the time ūüėČ ¬†It became apparent very quickly just how smart Miss Mango is. ¬†She LOVES to learn, and picks things up very quickly.

We wanted a home where she would have a job.  Somewhere that she would be able to use her talents and smarts to keep herself busy and out of mischief.   We had lots of interest in her, but none of the applications quite fit the bill.  Then, we were contacted by a lovely couple from Tasmania, who were looking for a Cocker, having recently lost their other Cocker to old age.

Mango has jetted off to her new life on a plant nursery in Tasmania! ¬†She will be with her people all day, every day, and will supervise and help in the greenhouse, greet visitors and during her down time will romp and play with her new doggy sister chasing ducks, racing around the property and swimming. ¬†Just what she needs. ¬†We can’t wait to follow her journey and hear all about her antics and adventures. ¬†Good luck little darling!
